Youth Life Ministry
The Yvonne C. Tate youth department focuses on establishing a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors in young people ages infant to 18. We do this by using creative and innovative methods to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it is to live for Him and only Him! Remembering that Jesus is Lord, and learning to always “Keep God First” no matter what.
Men's Ministry
Greater New Kingdom’s Men ministry is committed to uniting together to sow seeds in good ground with great expectation as we embrace Ephesian 6:13-16. We are fortifying the body in preparation as we work together to better understand the obligations to the church. We are committing to being a follower of the Lord and to adhering to God’s word and His Principles. Greater New Kingdom Men’s ministry will be reaching out to men in the church and community to provide opportunities of work in the Kingdom. Our vision is to come work alongside other men and leaders, to engage, equip and empower all men to discover the truth of the One and to discover their identity in Christ. We are men seeking Christ first in order to empower other men to come together to pray and study God’s word in order to change the community and impact the world for change.
Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry establishes and maintains an atmosphere and environment of Christian service for women ages 18 & up. Enabling women of various ages and backgrounds to effectively serve God in any area of their lives. We provide Christ-like characteristics by meeting the spiritual needs and desires of women ages 18 & up through Biblical principles. Through these Biblical principles along with personal and group studies our goals is to equip women with the necessary spiritual tools to become the women God is calling for.
Golden Girls
We are the “Elderly Mothers” of the church. The Golden Girls are the example of how our younger ladies of the church should carry themselves in and out of the house of God. We do what we can in the community to help feed, cloth, and counsel those that would need help. We do what we can to beautify the house of the Lord. Our mission is to do what we can when we can to aid in the up building of the Kingdom
Greeting Ministry
As greeters our job is very simple. We are here to show the love of Christ and make everyone feel like they are part of our church family. We seek to eliminate fear and encourage the love of Christ by showing the beauty of a smile when someone enters into our church doors. Kind words, a loving handshake or brief hug, may be all that is needed to boost confidence and bring a sense of ease to someone’s heart. The word “Welcome” is just a small percentage of what God can do through the greeter’s ministry. He has given this ministry so much more power to touch others through the joy of our service.
The greeters in God’s church ARE the “gateway” from the world into the service. Greeters help people transition from the world and “worldly experiences” into a service that can prepare them to have “spiritual experiences”.
Voices of the Kingdom
The Voices of the Kingdom, desire to create the environment for the holy spirit to be ushered in; we also hope and pray that the songs presented reaches and touches each heart present. Most of all, we as a body of believers only want to lift his name musically through praise and worship because he is a mighty God and what a mighty God we serve!
